Motivational Monday – All I Ever Needed

On this #MotivationalMonday, I think back to this moment captured while filming the “All I Ever Needed” video at my friend Christie’s horse ranch in awesome North Carolina. The crew was great…the day was hot & this was just moments after deciding if the black snake coming at me in the field was a cottonmouth or not…luckily, it was not!!! I thank my parents for teaching me cottonmouth/rattlesnake/copperhead avoidance while hiking & tubing!!! You can read more about my real life adventures like this as told in the AutoScrapOgraphy.

I was named after the cowboy Bret Maverick and my parents made everything an adventure, even if it was camping or riding motorcycles or washing the car in a creek in Pennsylvania and occasionally telling my sisters and I that there may be alligators lol to keep us preoccupied, not bored and give us a heightened sense of adventure…and it worked. That is who I am today – a person who loves adventure.
