Motivational Monday

On this powerful Motivational Monday (strap in – this is a big one!), as we rock headlong into the NFL season, it’s important to know not only how to dream big, but how to develop that dream into a reality. I’ve always said that I am a DREALIST, a true dreamer & a realist – how to have fun, but get it done. I’ve always bet on myself, realizing that you have to believe in yourself before anyone else will. You have to believe to receive. This is what brought me to the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh this year, a bucket list dream of mine since I was growing up in Pennsylvania.

To rock the stage with The Bret Michaels Band (The BMB) at the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh all began with my crude drawing I did on the tour bus, which is how I’ve built out so many stages throughout my career. From there, it took a ton of hard work, dedication & a great team of talented people working together (after they got done laughing at my drawing) to turn that simple drawing into something amazing for the more than 800,000 rockin’ & record-breaking NFL fans who came out to light up the 2026 Draft at Acrisure Stadium with my friend Wiz Khalifa & me. Although I was just one small part of this incredible event, as a sport fanatic, I’m beyond grateful to all the people behind the scenes who made this dream come to life.

Follow these 8 photos in chronological order & you’ll see the dream take shape, from a simple drawing on the tour bus to celebrating all NFL fans at the Draft in my hometown and being part of an all-time NFL Draft attendance record in Pittsburgh.

Let me sum up…

Don’t let the fear of failure crush your dream. My biggest fear has never been failing. My biggest fear is never trying. Rise to the challenge, it’s not meant to be easy.
