On this #WisdomWednesday, as I depart Arizona for Charleston, West Virginia, for the Sternwheel Regatta on Saturday, July 4, and Central Pennsylvania at Hollywood Casino PENN Heroes Stage Amphitheater on Saturday, July 11, for the big fireworks show…here is my Wednesday Wisdom note to self:

It is embracing that every rose has its thorn. My life is part roses, part thorns, part humor, part love and healing, and mostly embracing both the good and the suck. The rose is the very thing I love, which is family, friends and my adrenaline-fueled passion to live life to the fullest. But with that also comes the thorn, like still loving to do crazy mountain bike riding in the Shenandoah Valley while trying not to come up short on a long landing, which results in an endo, which results in a re-injury of a compression fracture in my lower back from the car wreck, which resulted from going way too fast around a slow curve.

But just know that on July 4, I’m gonna give everything I’ve got on stage and then some. I just may not be doing my Dance Dance Revolution breakdown and scissor kick finale quite as well executed lol

I am ready for nothing but a good time, Charleston WV & Grantville PA – I can’t wait!
