Exactly 16 Years Ago…

It was exactly 16 years ago, in April 2010 — the very same week as this year’s 2026 NFL Draft in my hometown of Pittsburgh — that I suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage. These four pictures truly describe my emotions, gratitude, and excitement at this year’s NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.

Thanks to my family and friends, great doctors, the grace of God, and the insulin for my diabetes, I was able to remain unbroken to experience this bucket list dream come true, and rock the stage with my immediate family and NFL friends.

To everybody that rocked Pittsburgh, thank you for letting me be a small part of it. Rich Eisen, thank you — we took that check up to $20,000 to battle cancer, especially meaningful as this week we lost a fan and a friend of The BMB to this horrific disease.

For whatever my two cents are worth, good day or bad day, live it to the fullest and rock the world!!!
