On Sunday September 15, 2019 singer songwriter Bret Michaels brought his record breaking Unbroken to Hometown Rising Country Music Festival sharing the bill with acts such as Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and more!
“The music & the people made for an insane party. I can’t thank the fans, Luke Bryan & all the other artists enough…I couldn’t stop smiling or jamming. What an awesome prelude to my upcoming CCCrocker Festival.” said Michaels.
As a permanent fixture in his live show and as he did during the Hometown Rising performance, Bret continues to bring veterans on-stage during his show to honor these heroes. “Every single night I honor our veterans, first responders, teachers, nurses, utility workers & fans. From day one of my career, it is something I will always do. It is never about politics, rather more about gratitude for our freedom.” states Bret.
“It was great to see Luke Bryan who was on Celebrity Apprentice with me (I crashed Luke’s party and watched side stage, lol). I told the world he would be a star and he proved me right. He, his band, crew & incredible manager Kerri rocked the house.” said Michaels.
As tale of two Bret(t)s goes…Bret Michaels and Brett Young bonded over music and the common ground of their names. “I guess you could say I am Brett’s less taller, more weathered older brother, lol.” said Michaels adding “Hearing Mercy live was awesome”.
Bret also caught up with the his buddies Chris and Preston from LOCASH and longtime keyboardist Will Doughty. Michaels continues his Unbroken world tour into the fall / winter for a series of pre-holiday bashes. Get complete tour dates at BretMichaels.com
