Singer Songwriter Bret Michaels Brings His Unbroken World Tour For End Of Summer Party, Reflects On Loss Of Father & Gives Back
Last night a lot of great fans from Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota were on hand and enjoyed as singer/songwriter Bret Michaels brought his record breaking “Unbroken” world tour for an end of summer party. Michaels, a baseball and football fanatic who recently lost his father reflected on last night’s show and sports talks with his Dad.
“I want to thank you all for lifting my spirits & I appreciate all of you bearing with me as I am not quite myself right now. I am truly trying to adjust to my father being gone. I’m watching the Little League World Series & pre-season football…we used to talk about this stuff all the time. It is those moments, shared moments that are both beautiful & bittersweet. This is going to take me time so bear with me.” said Bret.
As his “Unbroken” tours continues on, Bret continues to bring local veterans, first responders, teachers and utility workers on-stage to honor them during his shows. While watching the College Baseball World Series Michaels donated $10,000 from his Life Rocks Foundation to a charity of Vanderbilt pitcher Tyler Brown and Jocelynn Butcher‘s choice in honor of and in the name of their daughter Isabella who is a remarkable child with Down Syndrome.
