We cannot even begin to thank all of the fans, family and friends for all of your loyalty and support both professionally and personally, no doubt Bret is a true fighter and has been through a lot in the last few years. From his lifelong battle with Diabetes, his emergency appendectomy, warning stroke and heart surgery he faced it all with a positive attitude. We are thankful for his loyalty, friendship, determination and drive, his “have fun and get it done” attitude.
We at Michaels Entertainment have a favor to ask. We are hijacking Bret’s social media for a minute in order to do this.
There are two things we are asking. The first is to watch his new show “Rock my RV with Bret Michaels”, which premieres on May 26, 2013 on the Travel Channel. The show is great and if you get the Travel Channel it is fun and free!
Here is the second favor. For two and a half years, we have watched Bret slave over his new album. He always pours himself into whatever he does and all of his projects are important to him, but music and songwriting is still his first professional love and this album is special. Well, the time is here. The album will be released June 25, 2013. There is no other album like this, every track has a collaboration and multiple collaborations on many tracks. “Jammin’ with Friends”, spans his 25 year career from Poison to his most recent solo hits and includes covers of several songs that emotionally impacted his life. It has rock, country, pop, southern rock and even some rap and hip hop. So here is the favor we talked about. We want to push this album into the Top 10 and put good rock and roll back in the charts, in order to do that we want you to get the album. Buy it, pre-order it, tell people about it but just step up and let’s do this.
Bret put 20 tracks on this album, in today’s music world that is like a double album for the cost of a single album release. Bret is the last to tout his good deeds, but we see them every day from sending kids to camp to fulfilling a terminally ill fan’s wish that had been turned down by other wish granting organizations, as well as providing transportation to a terminally ill child for treatments along with building a hospital room and continually supplying it with items to hopefully make stays easier for patients and their families at St. Joseph Barrows and these are a mere handful of the many things he and the Life Rocks Foundation does. He asks for nothing in return but we at MEGI know how important this album is to him and we want to do this for HIM. With Bret turning 50 this year it would be the ultimate gift to him.
